Mutts in a Rut is solely a volunteer based rescue, which means most of our dogs are in foster homes. If you would like to volunteer to spend time with our dogs or even become a foster parent for a dog in need please email us.

 

Fostering an animal means you are allowing one of our dogs into your home so he/she can learn how to live in a loving home. All medical care and food will be provided for all of our animals that are in foster homes. Fostering a dog means you will provide them with love and care, teach basic commands, and exercise until the dog is adopted.

 

Having dogs in foster homes also allows us to learn more about the dogs personality to better help them get adopted.
